We have been staying in Yellowknife for the past few days.
On the 28th we were very lucky to be invited by Tracy Terrein and her Bucket List Tour company to experience her "Aurora Cabin". People come here from around the world to see the Aurora or "Northern Lights." The sightings have been spectacular for the last two nights. But we were having so much fun eating her homemade fish stew and bannock (fried bread, a local specialty) that we almost forgot to look!
We’ve bought 70 kg of fish from a local fisherman in Yellowknife. Frozen fish comprise the largest part of our diet when we're travelling in the Arctic.
