I believe it is in our nature to explore, to reach out into the unknown. The only true failure would be not to explore at all.
— Ernest Shackleton, explorer of the Antarctic, 1914
We spent years carefully planning — sourcing advanced specialist equipment and assembling a team of like-minded experts: explorers, scientists, and innovators — to embark on a bold human adventure. Then came 475 days of relentless effort, courageous decisions, and shared purpose out in the wild. That’s what it took to make the Transglobal Car Expedition a reality.
We travelled over 92,500 kilometres across land and sea — with some of us venturing where no one had ever gone before. Only a handful of people have stood at both the North and South Poles, but ours became the first-ever expedition to traverse both — over land and sea — in a single, continuous journey by vehicle.
From the frozen silence of the poles to the rhythm of equatorial rainforests, from barren deserts to bustling ports — we kept moving. We crossed five continents, sailed through five oceans, and drove across 42 countries.
More than 40 people joined us at different stages each bringing their skills, passion, and grit. Some worked in the field. Others behind the scenes. Every contribution mattered. This journey demanded endurance, clarity of purpose, and an unshakable belief in what collaboration can achieve.
We gathered scientific data. We listened to ancient wisdom. We witnessed the impact of climate change up close. We encountered staggering beauty — and tested the limits of what’s possible when innovation is guided by meaning.
Along the way, we shared our discoveries and stories with the world — to spark curiosity, provoke dialogue, and support those fighting for our planet’s future. What’s next?
Now begins the work of turning this journey into a lasting impact — through research, through storytelling, through action. Because exploration isn’t the end. It’s the beginning. Thank you for travelling with us — to the ends of the Earth.
