Early on the morning of Day 421 of our expedition, we flew from South America to North America, traveling from Cartagena, Colombia, to Panama City, Panama. We left the hotel at 4 AM, and the flight took an hour and a half.
Days 422-425 were dedicated to relaxation, with everyone following their individual plans.
Currently, the country’s population is 3.5 million, with the capital city of the same name home to 1.3 million residents. Throughout history, trade across the isthmus connecting North and South America has played a vital role in the city’s development. The construction of the Panama Canal significantly benefited the city’s infrastructure.
We visited the Canal and watched the dynamic scene of ships being loaded and unloaded, coming and leaving the dock
