The last three days of our Expedition we spent in Canada. We crossed the US-Canada border on Day 7, which added an unexpected 8 hours to our journey. The next day we were on the way to Calgary, Alberta, home of the world-famous Calgary Stampede and the gateway to the Rocky Mountains. On Day 9 we explored this city. Our first stop was the Calgary Tower, where we enjoyed the breathtaking panoramic views of the entire city. In the evening, we attended the Calgary-Toronto hockey game at the Scotiabank Saddledome. It doesn't matter who won, because we found ourselves cheering for both teams, caught up in the excitement of the game!
