In total, we covered 160 km direct to the North Pole in 3 days. Several thin ice crossings with strings in the tail and small open water gaps at the end, but the team handled it expertly. Also small problem with an axle but we had lunch at the same time so didn’t lose time! Now at 81.5 degrees North, which is terrific. Hope we continue to get this weather and these conditions! But it could change at any time.
