Days 34-35 were quite eventful. Emil and Hlynur were navigating onto the Arctic Ocean at Bathurst Inlet from the land, including ice depth monitor (on the visor). Marcel and Hylnur were testing ice depth manually for calibration. We were also setting up and testing the ice monitoring sled from Christian Haas.
We met Johnny from Cambridge Bay in the cabin across the strait and got stuck in a little slurry ice where the salt water has come through a crack and softened the snow and upper layer. But we successfully figured it out!
