We departed from Resolute after a successful run over broken sea ice, passing a couple of frozen-in icebergs. We spent a couple of days there in the lodge doing small repairs then headed north.
Resolute, Nunavut, is the last community on our route before the North Pole. This was the last community we saw for about two months until we crossed over the North Pole and got to the south end of Greenland. Last shopping, last showers. But we’re ready. We had an excellent time on very smooth ice, which we’re very happy with.
