June 29-30, 2024

Those days we spent in Dubrovnik, where a lot of ‘Game of Thrones’ scenes were filmed.

Located on the southern coast of Dalmatia, by the Adriatic Sea, this old city sits on a rugged cape overlooking the sea, surrounded by fortress walls. It comprises stone buildings from the 14th to 18th centuries and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Founded in the 7th century, it was known as Ragusa under Latin rule from 1358 and served as the capital of the Republic of Dubrovnik. Often referred to as the “Slavic Athens,” it was a hub for the development of Serbian and Croatian culture and language, as well as the now-extinct Dalmatian language.

And now we’re heading to a new country. Stay tuned!
