We continued heading west. We expected to reach the ocean shore and the town of Bletterberg Bay, a popular vacation spot known for its picturesque landscapes. Two-thirds of our route took us through a beautiful gorge, where we frequently crossed streams. The water levels had risen significantly due to heavy rains earlier in the week. However, nothing stopped us, and we were finally able to dip our feet in the Indian Ocean.
The next day we spent travelling along the coastline, with our final destination being the town of Gourits. It had been raining since early morning, and the temperature barely reached 13 degrees Celsius. By noon, we arrived at our accommodation — a charming resort by the ocean.
